For almost a decade, Planning Commissioner Chris Ledesma has been a leader in helping to make West Sacramento one of the region’s most attractive places to live and run a business.

The son of a small business owner himself, Ledesma consistently offers his expertise help improve West Sacramento’s small business community.
As a member of the West Sacramento Chamber of Commerce, he developed the Small Business Response Team and brought in federal resources to help local small businesses deal with issues resulting from the economy.
Ledesma also co-chairs the Sacramento Metro Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business Team during annual missions to Washington D.C. to advocate for more access to small business loans for local entrepreneurs.
